Lizzie McNeill's Irish Pub Chicago, Il!!!
In 1820 the Irish started migrating to the Chicago area as laborers. From the 1820's to 1850's the Irish immigrants would escapes hardships in their own county including the potato famine. This group would be instrumental in the building of the city as laborers including building of the Railroad and digging the canals. Today there are several reminders of their heritage at various restaurants and other areas of the Windy City which was part of my post it note experience. L
