Just west of the city of Washington D.C. lies the city of Arlington, Virginia. It's just a ten to fifteen minute metro ride from the heart of Washington D.C. The Arlington National Cemetery was established in 1864 after the Union confiscated the land that once belonged to Ulysses S. Grant.
