Yesterday, I had several conversations with individuals whom I gave a ride to about how much Nashville has changed in the last ten to twenty years. Areas that didn't offer much are now home to incredible dining, quaint neighborhoods, and plenty of experiences. One such street located in the Nation's offers plenty of great dining that is only 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. Many of these dining options have been recommended to me by post-it notes.
51st Avenue in the Nation's runs from Charlotte Avenue to Louisiana Ave. On this street, there are so many great dining options. Pizza, Deli's, Dives, coffee houses, Butcher shop, plus golf nearby. Here is a list of some fantastic stops on 51st Avenue.
51st Deli - If you're looking for a great deli in The Nation's, then this is your stop. Breakfast and lunch items are available. Awesome deli sandwiches and salads.
Midnight Oil - Right next to the 51st Deli, is this awesome pizza stop. There are plenty of creative pies that won't leave you disappointed. Great adult cocktails and beverages, including a great house, made Margarita.
Frothy Monkey - Located at the end of 51st Avenue, this local coffee shop offers great breakfast items, teas, and local coffee.
Bare Bones Butcher Shop - Looking for a local Butcher shop with awesome sandwiches, then this a go-to.
The Nations Bar and Grill - Local dive with great burgers, entrees, drinks, and it's been here for a hot minute.
Nicky's Coal Fired - A delicious wood burning pizza experiences along with great Italian dishes and pizza.
I also found out about a new restaurant and bar that opened up recently on 51st Avenue tonight. Perfectly Fine has opened up with a creative drink and food menu.
Near these great restaurants is also a local golf course. McCabe Golf Course offers a full course along with hitting stations.
This is a great area of Nashville to explore with dining, local finds, and even golf. Additionally, the Richland Creek Greenway is close by as well for those who enjoy walking, running, or biking. Add 51st Avenue for your next area to explore when visiting Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
