Many individuals who I have spoken to are looking forward to more travel in 2025. I myself am looking forward to traveling to more places by post-it note. Yesterday, I gave a ride to groups that were from various areas of the United States. They asked me about some travel recommendations for the new year. One state I mentioned is Utah.
Arches National Park offers over 2000 natural arches and scenic beauty. There are a wide variety of trails and roads throughout the park. You'll want to make sure you make reservations for entering the park. They have a grea visitor center and parking available. For stays, look at Green River only forty-five minutes from the park. I stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham. Dining in Green River check out Tamarisk restaurant. Additionally, I highly recommend making sure you have plenty of water and snacks when visiting Arches. Staying hydrated in the desert is key to a good visit to the desert. Allow yourself at least two days for arches.
Zion, located in the southwestern western area of Utah, is incredible. The park offers a visitor center where you park and take the shuttle into the park. There are eight stops in the park, and each one offers basic to extreme hiking. Allow yourself at least three days for the park. Outside the park, look at the Whiptail Grill for amazing Southwestern cuisine. For stays, look at Saint George for myself. I stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham St. George.
The Great Salt Lake in Salt Lake City is a must. Located west of the city head to this amazing for incredible views. You can't tell where the lake ends and the sky begins. They do offer a visitor center, and you can walk out to sands by the lake to write your aspirations in the sand. Plus, there is an amazing deli about fifteen minutes from the lake. Moochie's is an Icon in Salt Lake City. The Meatball and Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches are just a couple that this superb dining experience is located in the heart of Salt Lake City.
Utah offers so much to see and do. From national parks, dining, great cities, and amazing geographic features, you can't go wrong with a visit to Utah. Add Utah as a destination for 2025. #ridingwithkurt
