Before the 4th of July, I gave a ride to someone whom I took to one of their now favorite dining experiences in the Sylvan Park area of Nashville. Tonight, I stopped by Answer Restaurant for an incredible dining experience. The menu offers various appetizers, an incredible salad, and a wide variety of entree dishes plus a great wine selection. I began with their salad a combination of Bibb Lettuce, Bacon, Blue Cheese, Pepitas, and a delicious Red Wine Vinegrette. The entire salad was a work of art with a great balance of flavor from the bacon, blue cheese, Vinegrette, and the crunch of the pepitas. For Entree, I went with their spaghetti tossed with bay Scallops, Arugula pesto, walnuts, crushed red pepper, pecorino, and lemon the entire pasta was fantastic with immense flavor from the pesto and seasoning, plus the crushed red pepper was not too intense. The scallops were perfectly cooked and had great flavor and were very tender. For wine with both the salad and pasta, I highly recommend the Left Coast Pinot Gris. It's a very floral wine with a tad bit sweet and more on the drier side. The wine balanced well with the Vinegrette of the salad and the Arugula pesto sauce. The service was superb and friendly. A great upscale dining experience with a very cool ambiance along with patio seating. This is definitely a stop to add when looking for dining in the Sylvan Park area. #ridingwithkurt #postit
