Utah offers so many incredible outdoor experiences. Yesterday, I was talking to a couple and a few others about this amazing state. This state has also been a part of my journey that provides so many positive reminders of great things to come. One National Park that I truly enjoyed when I was passing through was Arches National Park. This was a post-it note recommendation that individuals offered me that I visited back in 2023.
The Arches National Park is located on the eastern side of Utah near Moab. There are over 2,000 various arches throughout the park. The park offers a visitor center, plenty of roads throughout the park that offer incredible views of the incredible arches and rock features. Some of the arches that I enjoyed were Delicate Arch, Partition Arch, Navajo Arch, Broken Arch, Sand Dune Arch, and other incredible arches. Plus, the various rock formations that look like a giant came in and shaped each one. There is only one way into the park, and note you must schedule your time into the park. The entrance to the park is located off of Highway 191. I found that buying an annual national park pass ahead of time is very beneficial.
You have a couple of options for stays near the park. There is Moab, but also I discovered Green River, Utah. If you're looking for a place just to stop as a place to sleep, then add Green River, Utah. I stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham. The hotel offered great rooms and was only forty-five minutes from Arches. For dining in Green River, check out Tamarisk Restaurant, which offers awesome Southwestern cuisine. Green River is also located just off of Interstate 70 . This stop was also part of my journey out west back in 2023. I flew into Denver and spent a couple of days there, then made the awesome drive throughout Colorado to Green River. One note to add with Arches is to make sure you pack plenty of snacks, water, and additional needs for going into the park as resources are limited.

The experience at Arches National Park is one to remember. I highly recommend adding this to your upcoming travels for 2025. You won't be disappointed with this fantastic experience in Eastern Utah. #ridingwithkurt
