Arrington Vineyards Arrington, TN

Today, I took a group down to Arrington Vineyards located about 35 minutes south of Nashville.  Arrington is a small community that has tremendous beauty in the area.  There are farms still there and even little markets to check out. The vineyards themselves sit on over 25 acres, and the first vine was planted in 2004 and grew from there. Today, you can visit this wonderful vineyard where they offer various wines, wine tasting experiences,  shopping,  and snacks. The wines range from white, rose,  and red. Each tasting is paired with tasty food including Sugar Snap Pea Salad,  Italian Sub Roll, Crab Rangoon, and other delicious items. They are opened year round but vary with the seasons.

While you're in Arrington across from the vineyards, it is a great farm stand from Delvin Farms. They offer their local farm goods for sale plus other great items. Today, I picked up some fresh peaches,  pickled beets, and pickled okra from this great local establishment.

Additionally,  about 8 minutes away from the vineyards is Rapid Pak Market.  This little market offers southern foods, including fried chicken,  fried catfish,  barbecue,  and other great items. I tried their pulled pork sandwich, and it was really good.  Plus, it's the only gas station in the area.

This is an excellent area to explore when visiting the middle Tennessee area. Franklin is about 20 minutes away, and there is plenty to check out there as well. One helpful note is if you're using Uber to get picked up from Arrington, you may want to reserve a ride to get picked up from the vineyards due to the remote location of the area. There are plenty of hotels located in Cool Springs and Franklin nearby.  Wine, a country setting,  plus a couple of great places nearby. You can't go wrong with Arrington Vineyards.  #ridingwithkurt
