The other day, I brought a couple from the airport to their hotel in a historical area of Nashville. This area is located on Second Avenue North near Bankers Alley and offers some historical significance to the city of Nashville. It's actually home to Nashville's first bank.
During the 1800s, Bankers Alley was the financial district to Nashville. It was considered the Wall Street of the South. The city's first bank was located here and was part of the early history of the city of Nashville. Today, it offers a Hilton Hotel that offers elegance with the stay but also easy location to the downtown Nashville sights and stops. Additionally, it offers Gray and Dudley, which is a sophisticated dining experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel is located only seventeen minutes by Uber to the airport, a five minute walk to Broadway, a very short walk to the historic Printer's Alley, and other great Nashville attractions.Â
Dining Experiences and attractions that have been recommended to me by post-it notes nearby include Skull's Rainbow Room, Fleet Street, Bourbon Street Boogie and Blues, Category 10, Musicians Hall of Fame, and The Nashville Farmers Market. There are plenty of other great attractions nearby and even Fort Nashboro. Bankers Alley is definitely a place to explore, along with Printer's Alley, when visiting Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
