If you're ever looking for some amazing southern cooking, then head to the Beacon Light Tea Room. Rhis place was recommended to me by a friend of mine. It is a quaint and cozy restaurant that is hidden in the small Tennessee town of Bon Aqua, TN, which is about 30 minutes west of Nashville off of Interstate 40. One of the most notable things the restaurant is known for is their homemade biscuits with fresh preserves. They are extremely good, and the basket is provided even before you order. The menu ranges from Southern classics like fried chicken, country ham, and ither classics. Anything you order is going to be good. Today, I had their Country Ham with green beans and fried apples. The entire meal was excellent and probably one of the largest country ham cuts I have ever seen. The entire dining experience is amazing, with extremely friendly service to the country's rustic ambiance of the restaurant itself. It's definitely worth a weekend drive out to Bon Aqua to Dine at the Beacon Light Tea Room. #ridingwithkurt
