For a historical touch head to Belle Meade and check out Belle Meade Plantation and Cheekwood. Both offer a great history and were both impactful in the early History of Nashville. Belle Meade Plantation offers tours and wine tastings. The Cheekwood Mansion has been turned into an art Museum and has a beautiful Botanical Garden which is at it's prime bloom in the Spring. Great restaurants in that area include Sportsmans Grille, Sperry's and La Peep. Regardless of your age you need to check out Phillips Toy Mart. The famous toy store offers very creative gifts for your kids or favorite beige or nephew.
