The one thing about Nashville is all the unique areas and burroughs throughout the city. There are so many amazing dining, sightseeing opportunities, historical buildings, music venues, and even the arts. One such street offers a mix of this and is less than ten minutes from downtown Nashville.
Belmont Boulevard near Belmont University offers some exceptional dining stops that have been recommended to me by post-it notes. If you're looking for these local dining gems, then check out some of these great restaurants on Belmont Boulevard. Here are a couple of stops to check out for dining near Belmont University.
Proper Bagel - A epic Bagel stop with excellent service. The bagels are made fresh daily with the owners who have been making bagels since 1977.
Bongo Java - This original Nashville coffee stop has been serving excellent morning brews since 1993.
International Market - Excellent Asian dining on Belmont Boulevard that has a history going back to the early 2000s.
Chago's - Excellent Southwestern cuisine with an amazing variety of dishes.
For History nearby, head to Belmont Mansion. It's home to one of the largest mansions built before the American Civil War in 1860. Today you can take tours of the mansion and relish in the history the sight has to offer. Hotels nearby include the Virgin Hotel on 16th Avenue, which offers the elegance of a stay that the property has to offer. The popular hotel is less than a five minute Uber to Belmont Boulevard. Additionally, check out their dining with The Commons Club and The Funny Library.
This is an area to add when visiting Nashville. Music Row, Hillsboro Village, Belmont University, and 12th Avenue South are all relatively close to Belmont Boulevard. Great food, along with some Nashville history. You can't go wrong with a stop on Belmont Boulevard. #ridingwithkurt
