Best Way To See Nashville, TN

kurtobersteadt

The city of Nashville offers plenty of attractions and activities. I am frequently asked what is the most efficient way to explore numerous iconic stops throughout Nashville, some of which were even recommended to me via post-it notes. My response to them is the Hop On And Hop Off Bus. This tour bus takes you throughout Nashville with thirteen stops where you can get off, see the sight, and take the next bus to the next sight while taking in the history tour of Nashville.

The stops include so many incredible historical places, including the following:

Marathon Motor Works Village - This historic building was home to the factory for the Marathon Car. Today, there is some great shops, dining,  Nelson's Green Briar Distillery, Antiques Archaeology, and even the Marathon Car Muesem.

Centennial Park - The Parthenon is well worth adding and seeing a structure that was built for the 100-year celebration of the history of Tennessee.

Belmont Mansion,  Belmont University,  and Music Row. These are historical areas of Nashville with the Mansion that represents the founding of Nashville, The University represents the future of Music, and Music Row offering the history of music to Nashville with all recording studios.

Other stops include the Gulch, Country Music Hall of Fame,  The Musicians Hall of Fame,  Ryman Auditorium,  TPAC,  Legislative Plaza, The Farmers Market,  and Capitol View. One of the stops, though , is worth walking to after the tour, that  is the Union Station Hotel. The building was built in 1900 as Nashville's Train station, but after the end of the steam engine, the building was abandoned.  Through various investors, the building was brought back to life, and today, it's a Marriott Property.  The architecture is absolutely beautiful with the limestone exterior and a beautiful lobby with restored stain glass.

A tour of Nashville will allow you to have a great appreciation for the city of Nashville and its history. The Hop On And Hop Off Bus with Old Town Trolly Tours is one of the best ways to see Music City. Add this experience next time you're looking for an excellent tour of Nashville,  TN.  #ridingwithkurt
