A couple of nights ago, a rider told me about a hot chicken restaurant in the North Gulch that they enjoyed frequently. I stopped in at Big Shake's Hot Chicken today to check it out. They have a variety of hot dishes from chicken, shrimp, and fish plus sides. There are four levels of heat heat. Today, I went with the Quarter Chicken leg and thigh with Cole slaw and corn bread. This chicken is awesome with a balance of spice, saltiness, heat, and tender chicken. The cole slaw balanced the heat from the chicken while the corn bread added sweetness to it. This is definitely a hot chicken stop you'll want to check out with excellent service as well next time you're in the North Gulch. #ridingwithkurt
