Bozeman, Montana

Located in the heart of Montana you'll find the town of Bozeman. MT. It's a great western town and offers plenty to do. With access to great hiking along the Rocky Mountains, great rivers for fly fishing and fishing, Big Sky for skiing, close proximity to the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park, and energetic town with great restaurants, hotels and and plenty of tourists stops you cannot go wrong with this somewhat small college town in Montana.

For great fly fishing and fishing experiences head to the Madison and Gallatin Rivers. The rivers are scenic to the area and you'll be amazed by the beauty as you cast your lines in the river with nothing but peace with the rivers, the scenery and the trout you catch. You can get insider knowledge by visiting Montana Angler Company, Montana Troutfitters, and Montana Angler. All three have a store with even recommendations for guide services.

For museum stops head to Museum of the Rockies. It offers a large renowned collection of dinosaur fossils.

One final stop is the drive down to Yellowstone National Park. The drive is less than an hour and a half and will put you in a beauty of nature that is beyond pictures. You can enjoy a full day at the park that was established as America's first national park and take a step back in time to what area originally looked like.
