Only accessible by boat or ferry this island is a place that enthusiasts for boating, fishing, hiking, bird watching, and those that enjoy gathering shells along the beach is a go to place.

The island was established in 1932 as a preserve for the local habitat. The island offers 16 miles of trails and views of the low country that define the area. To access the island you'll need to put in at Garris Landing or take the ferry from there.

Once on the island you will have an adventure of a lifetime that will give you only a memory of a beauty that you can't put into pictures. The Fishing is incredible and you can catch Redfish, Sea Trout, Whiting, Croaker, and Sharks.
