Last night, I made a stop at a popular pizza stop located in South Of Broad to pick up a couple of pies. I first learned about Dicey's Tavern when I first started doing my blog and Uber. I received a post-it note recommendation for this stop from two individuals who lived in the area at the time.
Dicey's Tavern is located on Chestnut Street, and their pizza and dining are influenced by the owner who brought his recipes from Chicago to the heart of South of Broad in Nashville, TN. They offer a thin crust Chicago style pizza. The menu offers traditional, creative, and build your own pizzas. Additionally, they offer appetizers like their meatballs and garlic bread plus salads. The two Chicago pies I went with are the Traditional Pepperoni and Veggie Supreme with Pepperoni. Both pizzas were fantastic with a tasty crust, tangy red sauce, smoked mozzarella, and excellent toppings. I really enjoyed the Veggie Supreme with Pepperoni. The veggies were plentiful and very fresh with the pepperoni it had a great balance of flavor.
The service was friendly, excellent, and very fast. The online ordering process was also easy to use with their website. They had my order ready in under fifteen to twenty minutes. While I waited, they had March Madness games on, so head there to watch some March Madness and enjoy some awesome pizza. Add Dicey's Tavern for your next pizza stop in Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
