This weekend will be a fun to get out to Franklin, TN, for their 38th annual Dicken's of a Christmas. The annual event will have actors dressed up as characters from the famous Charles Dicken's Christmas story A Christmas Carol, vendors, arts and craft, live music, food and beverages, Carolers, shopping, and opportunities to get pictures with Santa. The two day event will be on December 9th from 10 am until 6 pm and December 10th from 11 am until 5 pm. Shuttle services are available for $1 per person. The pickup location is at Franklin High School and Harlinsdale Farm. The school address is 810 Hillsboro Road Franklin, and the farm address is 239 Franklin Road in Franklin.
If you are looking for hotels nearby, you can stay in Franklin or Cool Springs. Franklin would be ideal because you wouldn't have to drive. The Harpeth Franklin Downtown is the only one in downtown.
