A few of my riders have mentioned to me about an amazing Banh Mi in the heart of East Nashville. Today, I stopped by East Side Banh Mi. The eclectic vibe with very diverse Bahn Mi sandwiches that range from cold cut to tuna as well as hot ones. Today I went with the pork. The black pepper roasted pork shoulder offers some heat from the pepper, but the picked vegetables with cilantro, cucumber, and fried shallot mayo offer a nice balance of coolness to each bite. This is definitely an amazing sandwich, and the flavors are awesome. For the sides, I went with their shrimp and pork spring rolls, which served with a peanut sauce they were fantastic. Excellent service and cool ambiance. This place is one you'll want to add to your lists next time you're in East Nashville. #ridingwithkurt
