Before the Fame of Broadway, there are old parts of Nashville that still exist. From the music venues to even the restaurants, you can still even discover these hidden spots. Places like Hillsboro Village, Belle Meade, Green Hills, and Elliston Place. Elliston Place is not just a road it's a place that offers live music and great restaurants. Located near West End right next to Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University, this little area offers a lot of music history with one venue and a great eatery.
Exit In is a music venue that has been around Nashville for over 50 years. Legends of music like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, R.E.M., Muddy Waters, and plenty more have set foot on the stage. Today, live music still exists there, and you can see a variety of artists from all sorts of backgrounds that perform there. Additionally, it's recognized as a historical Nashville landmark.
Right down the road from Exit Inn, there is a historic diner. The original location was across from the Exit In, and legends of music were even spotted there. George Jones even had his photo taken there for his album Alone Again. Today, the amazing diner still exists after 80 years in its new location. They offer great diner food, southern cuisine, milkshakes, and malts.
A couple other eateries that have been recommended to me by post-it note that I have dined at along Elliston Place include I Love Sushi, Thai Satay, and Martin's BBQ, This area is a must to explore and catching a great concert at Exit In while experiencing some great dining experiences when visiting Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
