Etch Nashville, TN

A restaurant in Downtown Nashville that I have always enjoyed over the years is Etch. Last year, I gave one of their servers a ride and since then have given him 4 rides, including yesterday. Today, I stopped by to check out this incredible dining experience.

The Executive Chef is Deb Paquette, an icon in Nashville dating back to her restaurant on West End called Zola's. The ambiance to Etch is amazing with high ceilings and a modern look with an open kitchen. They even offer a chef's counter where you can watch their crew put on a culinary show similar to the Symphony. The menu is fusion with a Mediterranean style with some southern touches to it. They offer shareables, salads, soup of the day, sandwiches, and entrees. For starters, I began with the Soup of The Day a Curry Corn and Potato Chowder that was amazing. Velvety texture, along with deep curry flavor and sweetness from the corn, topped with pickled peppers that added a nice touch to the flavors of the Chowder. For the entree, I had the Spanish Beef Tenderloin. The cuts of Tenderloin were incredible with each tender cut served with montego garlic mashed potatoes, espagnole sauce, bacon Almond picatta, sherry glazed carrots, sunflower Sprouts, and lemon it was like taking a trip to Spain. The entire dish was spectacular with so many flavors of the dish. The service by Kevin and the entire staff were amazing, and this is a dining experience you'll definitely want to add when visiting Nashville.

Etch is also close walking distance to The Schermerhorn, The Country Music Hall of Fame, Walk of Fame Park, Bridgestone, and Broadway. The restaurant offers both lunch and dinner. Reservations are highly recommended for dinner, especially on the weekends. Walk-ins are also welcome. They have a sister restaurant in Green Hills that is also very good, ETC. #ridingwithkurt
