An area of Nashville that I always enjoy exploring is the Germantown area. It has plenty of great restaurants that many of the locals hang out, plus some great bars and attractions. Located only ten minutes from Broadway, this area is one you'll want to add when visiting Nashville.

Some dining experiences that I have always enjoyed that were recommended to me by post-it notes include the following.

Mother's Ruin - Fun local bar with a great menu and drinks. The burger is excellent along with their other amazing dishes.

Sonny's - A popular bar with a vibrant atmosphere and tasty bar food.

Pelato - Incredible Italian dining in the heart of Germantown. The meatballs are a must for appetizers.

Germantown Pub - The wings are incredible with plenty of different variety.

Optimists - A seafood dining experience that is one you'll find similar to New England. The raw bar menu is updated daily.

Germantown Cafe - A Germantown original dining experience known for their French Onion Soup.

Jonathan's - Popular local sports bar with great pizza, sandwiches, entrees, appetizers, and salads. This is a great place to watch your favorite team.

Von Elrod's Beer Hall - A fun beer hall with a great environment. The ambiance resembles a German Food Hall. Large tables and big beer lists along with a great menu. The Bratwurst are extremely tasty.

For live music, bowling, along with a great menu a head to Brooklyn Bowl. Tonight Cowboy Bebop Live Tribute band performs at 8:00 pm. The band is a high octane jazz band with some amazing talent.

The Farmers Market, located on Rosa L Parks Boulevard, offers so many great local shops and vendors. They also have a great food hall. Right across from the Farmers Market is the Tennessee State Museum and Bicentennial Mall. Take in the history of Tennessee with these two great stops.

Germantown is an area of Nashville to add when visiting. There are so many great dining experiences and venues to check out. Great food, music, history, shopping, and local flair. You can not go wrong with this area of Nashville. #ridingwithkurt
