Happenings In Nashville, TN This Weekend

Your weekend is starting early heare in Nashville with plenty of concerts, baseball, and marathon, and additional great activities throughout the music city. Ascend Amphitheater,The Ryman, First Horizon Park, The Schermerhorn, and other venues. Here are your happenings for the weekend in Nashville, TN, beginning tonight.

Ascend Amphitheater has a legendary jam band coming to town beginning Thursday evening and going through Saturday. Wide Spread Panic will be performing at the outdoor venue each night with shows beginning at 7:00 pm. If you're a fan of Wide Spreas Panic or a great rock band, then this is a show you'll not want to miss.

Baseball continues at First Horizon Park as the Nashville Sounds continue to host The Durham Bulls. Games are Friday through Sunday. Fireworks after the game o. Friday evening. Game times are Friday and Saturday at 6:05 pm. While Sunday's game is at 2:05 pm.

The Symphony has an incredible performance at the Schermerhorn beginning this evening. The Symphony will be performing Tchaikovsky's with a celebration of his music with

the Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture, and Capriccio italien. Two guest appearances by Tony Siqi Yun and Oliver Herbert. The concert begins Thursday evening with performances also on Friday and Saturday. Shows begin at 7:30 pm.

The Ryman has shows both Friday and Saturday. On Friday at 7:00 pm, comedian Starvos Halkias performs. On Saturday at 8:00 pm, Rodney Atkins brings his legendary country music to Nashville.

The Saint Jude Rock n Roll marathon is on Saturday. Races begin as early as 6:30 am with full and half marathon. Various live music throughout each course. There is even a race day post party live music event. The start begins on Broadway with the completion of the race at Nissan Stadium. Note that there will be several road closures throughout Nashville for the Marathon.
