Nashville has plenty of locations to check out live music. Whether on Broadway, East Nashville, throughout downtown, or Germantown, there are plenty of musicians performing this weekend. Additionally, great dining is located at or around these venues. Plus, some of these stops were recommended to me by post-it notes.
The Listening Room offers a great lineup for various hours this weekend. They offer lunch and dinner shows with many singers and songwriters. Shows on Friday are 11:00 am until 11:00 pm. On Saturday shows begin at 10:00 am and go until 11:00 pm. This amazing venue, located on 4th Avenue South, offers a more intimate setting with these great artists. They also offer dining for lunch, brunch, and dinner as well as a full drink menu.
In Germantown, if you are looking for bowling plus great food and some live music, head to Brooklyn Bowl. Tonight Gimme Gimme Disco will be performing. This DJ based 70's and 80's group will begin their performance at 8:00 pm with doors opening up at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, it's bowling night with DJ Sunnee. The bowling and music by local DJ DJ Sunnee will be in full effect. The fun begins at 5:00 pm.
At the Basement East American Indie rock band, Susto will take the stage this evening. The show begins at 8:00 pm tonight. The Basement East was opened in 2015 and is to many great musical performances from all genres. The show of dining nearby, including the food truck Bad Luck Burger.
The Grand Ole Opry has a full lineup tonight and Saturday evening. Shows begin at 7:00 pm and get there ahead of time to take in the venue, then Opryland Hotel, and the history this area has to offer. Only twenty minutes from the downtown Nashville area.
On Sunday at the Ryman at 7:30 pm, Nashville in Harmony will be performing. This iconic choir will be offering their classics from the past twenty years.
