Happenings In Nashville, TN This Weekend

It's a new year in Nashville, TN, and there are plenty of great experiences in Music City this weekend.  Beginning Friday night and running through Sunday, you can find all sorts of great activities for all ages. Bridgestone Arena,  Ryman Auditorium,  and other great stops have been going on this weekend. 

At Bridgestone Arena, this Saturday and Sunday, it's Monster Jam.  This is an all ages event when Monster trucks come to downtown Nashville.  Event times on Saturday are at 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm. On Sunday the event begins at 1:00 pm. For drop-off location, look at 6th and Broadway. 

At the Ryman, it's the Celebrate the Opry 100 concert event.  A great lineup each night while the city of Nashville celebrates the 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry with its origins at the Ryman Auditorium.  The Grand Ole Opry was moved to its current location in 1974. This weekend and throughout the month of January, the talent returns to its roots at the Church, also known as the Ryman.  For drop-off location, look at by the Ryman at 4th Avenue.  Tours are available this weekend, and it's always popular for anyone visiting Nashville. 

The Listening Room offers a full lineup this weekend and is located on 4th Avenue North with lunch, midday, and dinner shows. At the Exit Inn, the Knoxvillebased band, Fort Knox brings their music to the hisric venue with elements of Funk, Reggae,  hip hop, and electronic music. Both The Basement and Basement East have a great lineup this weekend.  The basement is located on 8th Avenue while the Basement East is located in East Nashville.  The music of the Grateful Dead returns to Brooklyn Bowl on Friday with the band The Stolen Faces. The show begins at 8:00 pm. Brooklyn Bowl offers great food and bowling along with great music, plus they have a post-it note.

It's another fun music and events weekend in Nashville,  TN. Monster Jam,  live music,  along with great food you won't be bored this weekend when visiting. Regardless of what area of Nashville you are in, you'll find something to do. #ridingwithkurt
