This weekend offers plenty of excitement with sports, live music, and even snow. Throughout Nashville this weekend, there is plenty to do. The Schermerhorn, Bridgestone Arena, The Ryman, and other venues have plenty of options this weekend.
Beginning this evening at the Schermerhorn Theater, Emanuel Ax joins the Nashville Symphony with the music of Mozart. The pianist will provide some his highest talent as he performs the music with the Nashville Symphony of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Shows are Thursday through Saturday, January 9th through 11th at 7:30 pm.
At the Ryman Auditorium this weekend, it's the 100-year celebration of the Grand Ole Opry with performers each night. Additionally, tonight, Peter Rowan, along with Sam Grisman, takes the stage. They have a huge lineup for this epic event. The Peter Rowan show begins at 7:30 pm. On Friday and Saturday evening, the Opry 100 event begins at 7:00 pm
At Bridgestone Arena, the Nashville Predators will be hosting the Washington Capitals on Saturday. The game begins at 7:00 with doors opening up an hour and a half before puck drop. This is an all ages event, and if you're a fan of hockey, then this is an event to add.
There is also a full lineup this weekend at the Listening Room. If you haven't checked out this great venue, then you are missing out. Various hours of live music along with great food and drinks available.
At the Cambria Hotel on Thursday and Friday, check out Molly Lovette. Other hotels that offer live music over the weekend include Grand Hyatt, Graduate Hotel, Hutton Hotel, and other great hotels. Plus, The Row and Local offer great live music in the West End and Midtown Area of Nashville at night.
