The weekend is just around the corner, and there is plenty to do in Nashville, TN. Hockey, Soul Music, The Opry, plus other great venues have all sorts of experiences this weekend. It's all begins Thursday with events at The Ryman Auditorium, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Bridgestone Arena, Vanderbilt, East Nashville, SOBRO, and other Great stops.
On Thursday through Saturday at The Schermerhorn Husband and Wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter bring their amazing talents with their War And Treaty performance along with the Nashville Symphony. The performance begins at 7:30 pm each night.
The Ryman is bringing in the Grand Ole Opry. This is a celebration for 100 years of the iconic concert that its origins began at here but eventually moved to its present location in 1974. A great lineup featuring Suzy Bogguss, John Conlee, Gary Mule Deer, LANCO, Ralph Stanley II and The Clinch Mountain Boys, Restless Road, and Jeannie Seely The show is on Friday night at 7:00 pm.
On Saturday at the Ryman, the iconic rock artist who had been performing for over 15 years, Whitney Morgan and The 78's take the stage. Erin Viancourt and Leroy Fron The North opened up for this great show. The show begins at 8:00 pm on Saturday.
The Nashville Predators will be hosting the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. The puck drop begins at 7:00 pm with doors opening up an hour and a half before the game. Thos is an all ages event, and if you're looking for a first hockey experience or a fan of hockey, then this must stop.
Vanderbilt Commodores basketball is hosting the Tennessee Volunteers at 2:30 pm. on Saturday. This is a great basketball tradition to attend, especially for the basketball enthusiasts.
Additionally, great shows this weekend, along with great food that has been recommended to me by post-it notes, including the Basement East, Listening Room, Exit Inn, Brooklyn Bowl, and other epic stops.
