The other day, I gave a ride to someone who had recently moved to the Nashville area, and we were talking about hiking in Nashville. An area that I told them about to check out is the Harpeth River State Park. The park is located about 25 minutes west of Nashville in between Bellevue and Pegram. The park offers several hiking trails plus a nice area to hike along the Harpeth River. Additionally, there is an actual hidden lake in the area that you can hike to. This is an area that offers fishing as well. Plus, if you're into canoeing or kayaking, this area offers an area you can put in at. The park sits on McCrory Lane and has parking available. Definitely add this to your list if you're looking for great hiking in the Nashville area. #ridingwithkurt
