Historical Stops in Nashville, TN

Over the weekend, I have been talking to several of my riders about historical stops in Nashville. Nashville was founded in 1779 near the Cumberland River with Fort Nashboro. Throughout the city, you'll find plenty of great historical stops. Each area offers historical significance to the city of Nashville. Here is a list of great historical stops throughout Nashville.

Parthenon at Centennial Park

Cheekwood

Belle Meade Winery and Mansion

Belmont Mansion

Hermitage Plantation

Fort Nashboro

Fort Negley

Opryland Hotel

Grand Ole Opry

Ryman Auditorium

Printer's Alley

Bicentennial Mall

Tennessee State Museum

Municipal Auditorium with the Musicians Hall of Fame

Country Music Hall of Fame

Music Row along 16th and 17th Avenue

Union Station Hotel

Marathon Motor Works Village

These locations offer plenty of history and are definitely ones to add to the lists when visiting Nashville. Some of these stops date back to the 1800s, and others began around the 1900s. The historic significance of Nashville is interesting, from founding to the Civil War era to the beginning of music in Nashville. This is definitely a place you'll enjoy. #ridingwithkurt
