John's Island, SC

Located just South of Charleston, SC the island of John's Island has plenty to see and do. From historical stops to some great low country dining experiences. Two restaurants that are a must to stop at are Wild Olive, and Tomato Shed Cafe. Both are very different but are restaurants that you will not want to miss. Wild Olive is an Italian Restaurant. The menu is one that is probably some of the best Italian Food I have ever had. The Tomato Shed Cafe offers some of the best low country food you can have. It's only open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday. The Crab cakes, Shrimp, squash casserole, are just a couple items that you will want to try and all of their menu items have been harvested on the island.

Two places you will want to see are Angel Oak and the Charleston Tea Garden (actually located on Wadmalaw Island).

Access to the beach can be found at Beachwalker located by the Kiawah Island entrance.

One final stop is Low Tide Brewing for the beer lover or someone who wants a great local brewery stop.

A full day can be spent on the island by visiting these memorable attractions and restaurants.
