In 2022, I had some riders that told me about a great Korean restaurant on Charlotte Pike. These riders were from South Korea. They attended Vanderbilt University and said this place was pretty authentic. In November of 2022, I featured the Korean House. The Bulgogi was amazing.
Today, while taking a rider to the airport, she told me about the Bibimbap and said I need to try it out. I knew she was on to something because she was originally from Seoul, South Korea. So I stopped by to check out their Bibimbap.
Today, I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap, and it was incredibly flavorful. Rice topped with fresh vegetables and beef bits served in a hot stone pot that came our sizzling it was like a fajita but Asian style with awesome flavor. Served with sides of pickled vegetables and Kimchi that added balance to the heat from the sizzling stone bowl.
The service is excellent, and it's definitely a hidden gem. It is located in the West Nashville part of town. Very relaxed atmosphere and fast service. Definitely add this stop when looking for great Korean food in the Nashville area. #ridingwithkurt
