Often times when you think of Alberta Canada you automatically turn to Calgary which is definitely a stop for the natural tourist. The real gem to Alberta is Lake Louise. This amazing area of Canada offers year round outdoor activities for the outdoor enthusiasts and a hotel you will want to add to your travel lists.
For an amazing hotel experience in Lake Louise book your stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. This historic hotel offers amazing views of the Canadian Rockies and sits along the beautiful Canadian Rockies. During the winter months the hotel offers ice skating right on the frozen lake with your backdrop of a view you'll never forget. For those that are looking for a skiing and snowboarding experience head to the Lake Louise Ski Resort. This ski area is probably some of the best area in the the Canadian Rockies with big bowls, very little lift lines, and so much beauty as you drift down each slope of this epic ski area during the winter months.
During the summer months the area offers plenty of hiking and sightseeing. One hiking area is Sunshine Meadows. The area offers spectacular views of blooming wildflowers and panoramic views. Guided hikes are available as well through White Mountain Adventures.

Lake Louise will always be a dear place to my heart and an area I look forward to returning to again. It's an experience you'll never forget and a life that slows down once you arrive regardless of the season.
