Love is literally in the air in Belle Meade. The works of Robert Indiana have arrived at Cheekwood. From March 8th until November 2nd, 2025, the iconic LOVE statue will be on display on the grounds of Cheekwood's Botanical Garden.
The Love statue was first discovered and displayed in the 1970s. Its theme is white, blue, and red, which is reflected in the artists' journey in America. The statue is the backdrop to the various blues that will occur throughout Cheekwood this spring and carry throughout the summer and fall.
While you're at the historic Cheekwood estate, take in the incredible historical mansion. Originally built by the Cheek family, today you can tour the mansion that offers the original furniture, art, and Botanical Garden as well as the various art pieces and gallery.
This weekend at the mansion, it's Music In The Beer Garden at Cheekwood. Local musicians, along with food trucks, fill the garden with incredible music and food. The event is on Saturday and Sunday, March 15th, and 16th from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Incredible history, arts, events, and music can always be found at Cheekwood. The property is located about twenty minutes from downtown Nashville in Belle Meade. Plenty of dining options nearby include Le Peep, Sperry's, Sam's Place, The Picnic, and Coco's, which many of these were recommended to me by post-it notes.
