Marathon Village Nashville, TN

One place when asked about places to visit in Nashville, I always let people know about Marathon Village at the old Marathon Motor Works building. The building offers history, shopping, eateries, tattoos, and even Harley Davidson, along with a couple of distilleries. Today, I stopped by to get a bite to eat at Just Love Coffee Cafe. It's a quaint little coffee shop that offers great drinks, breakfast, and lunch items. I had their chicken salad croissant, and it was excellent. The chicken salad was really good, along with the other ingredients in it. The croissant was fresh and had a pleasant buttery taste. The sandwich was served with a side of chips.

The building itself has a tremendous amount of history. In the early 1900s, the building was a factory for The Marathon cars. The car was called the Southern Darling, and over 10,000 cars were originally produced from 1904 till 1914, when in 1915, it changed ownership and was moved to Indianapolis. Today, you can visit the muesem, which is adjacent to the building, but inside the Motor Works building, it offers pictures and a bit of history to the old historic building.

Parking is available by the building, but it's also part of the Hop On Hop Off tour bus. This is one of the fourteen stops for the Hop On Hop Off Tour Bus. The parking is around three dollars for the first hour. Additionally, you can Uber to the Village if you are looking to get there directly. This is definitely a great place to visit when visiting the Nashville area. #ridingwithkurt
