Musicians Hall of Fame Nashville, TN

kurtobersteadt

There are plenty of great music venues, museums,  and attractions throughout Nashville.  One such place offers a great museum and is historically significant. The Municipal Auditorium was completed in 1962 and is significant because it's the second music venue built in Nashville after the Ryman Auditorium. Today, you can visit this historic auditorium that still offers concerts, Arena football,  and other celebrations, including local high school graduations.

The venue also offers an incredible music museum that stretches the history of the early beginnings of music not only in Nashville but throughout the United States and the world.  I was first informed about this incredible stop about a year ago and received a post-it note for it. The Musicians' Hall of Fame is well worth the experience. The fee to get in is around $30, which includes entry into the museum,  a video,  and a self guided tour. The exhibits offer memorabilia and platinum albums from legendary musicians like Simon and Garfunkel, Beach Boys, The Mama's and The Papa's The Temptations,  Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Elvis, Neil Diamond,  Johnny Cash,  George Jones, Tammy Wynette, plus many more.

For dining near the Museum there are plenty of options including Moonshot Coffee Bar, Stateside Kitchen,  Ophelia's,  Sinatra's,  Fleet Street,  Skull's Rainbow Room, Von Elrod's Beer Hall,  and Geist.  Hotels nearby include Towneplace Suites, Noelle,  The Bobby Hotel, and Dream Hotel. This area is about eighteen minutes from the Nashville International Airport.

This is an area that offers an easy walk to many great attractions like the Musicians Hall of Fame.  Great history plus dining and hotels near an incredible museum.  Add the Musicians Hall of Fame for your next stop when visiting Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
