Yesterday was one of those days where I provided rides from all over the United States and even Essex England. I met a couple of groups that were from New Jersey who are here to see Nashville but also attend Sunday's hockey matchup between the Nashville Predators and the New Jersey Devils. The Nashville Predators Head Coach will be facing his former team in which should be a great match-up.
The game begins at 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025. Doors at Bridgestone Arena open up an hour and a half before puck drop. This is an all ages event, and if you're a fan of or sports, then add this for some Sunday fun day activities.
Prior to the game, there are plenty of activities to do up until puck drops. Some dining options or attractions that have been recommended to me by post-it notes include the following.
Monell's - Located in Germantown, this family dining experience offers endless southern foods.
Pelato - Incredible Italian dining in the heart of Germantown.
Urban Grub - Amazing dining in the heart of 12th Avenue South. These brunch menu is awesome along with their Wedge Salad and Shrimp and Grits.
Cafe Roze - A popular east Nashville restaurant that offered a dining experience for all occasions.
Bill's Sandwich Palace - The holy grail
of Sandwich stops in East Nashville. Their Sandwiches are so creative and will leave you with a lasting impression.
Shotgun Willie's- A BBQ gem in East Nashville that offers a Brisket that is so flavorful and tender that you can even cut with a fork.
A couple places throughout Nashville that you may want to add for a souvenir and local establishments are the Nashville Farmers Market and The L and L Market. The Nashville Farmers Market is located on Risa L Parks Boulevard. While The L and L Market is located near the Sylvan Park area of Nashville. Both offer great local shops along with some great local dining.
