In the town where Elvis was born, I was told a way back about a restaurant I needed to check out by one of my riders. So tonight, I stopped in to check out the Neon Pig Cafe in Tupelo, MS. This place is awesome with a great ambiance to the fabtastic and friendly service once you walk in the door. The menu offers quite a variety of various items from burgers, sandwiches, salads, entrees, and sides. Tonight, I started with the tomato salad that has thick slices of tomatoes and topped with Bentons Bacon Bits, fresh corn, pickled onions, Arugula, white gold, and harissa. This salad / appetizer was spectacular with so much fresh flavor in every bite. For entrees, I went with the Belvis Burger. I have had some amazing burgers, but this hits a new level of burgers. This burger is topped with pork belly, Bentons Bacon pimento cheese, jerky sauce, Creole mustard, and served on their amazing Ciabatta Bun. This burger hit everything I enjoy and combined in one massive level of flavors that hit your palate on every level. This place is definitely a place you'll want to check out next time you're passing through Tupelo, MS. Finally, for beverages, I had a Chandleur Island Brewing Company Shark Tracker that was excellent. Great lager with good bold flavors and not too heavy, plus it's brewed in Biloxi, MS. Great brews and food here in my first night in Mississippi. #ridingwithkurt
