Yesterday, I gave a ride to a legendary artist who has been performing with an iconic country in the western group for forty-seven years. This week at The Opry, this amazing group takes the stage at The Grand Ole Opry. Douglas Green, along with Slim, Woody, and Joe, known as Riders in The Sky, will be performing tonight and Monday along with another great lineup of other amazing country artists. These two shows are part of the Opry Country Christmas. Each night the show begins at 7:00 pm. For drop-off locations, you can be dropped off by the Opry House. After the show, you came look at being picked up by the venue or walk over to The Opryland Hotel to check out the Christmas lights and experiences. The Opryland Hotel is the largest hotel in North America without a casino with two atriums that have gardens, waterfalls, fountains, and a river.
For dining prior to the show, there are plenty of options nearby. Including restaurants at Opry Mills, The Opryland Hotel, Paula Deen, the Scoreboard, and a few others with some of these that have been recommended to me by post-it notes.
Legendary Music, along with a Christmas spirit, makes a great combination for Sunday and Monday at the Grand Ole Opry. The Grand Ole Opry is located about 20 minutes north of Nashville in the Donelson area. Head to the Opry to get in the festive spirit for Christmas. #ridingwithkurt
