Park Hills, MO

Located about an hour south of St. Louis you'll find the town of Park Hills, MO. This area of Missouri offers a rich history of mining and outdoor experiences that you can enjoy year round. The town itself began operation in 1994 and the original name was Flat River. It's located in St. Francois County.

A couple of stops to add to your experience on eastern Missouri include Elephant Rock, Bonne Terre Mine, and the historic Missouri Mines State Park. These places you may never have ever heard of but the history and experience of a visit and tour will add an appreciation to your visit to the Midwest and the state of Missouri.

Restaurants in the area include Riverside Grill, The Old Mine House Bar and Grill, Slaughterhouse Craft Parlour, the Catfish Kettle and The Factory Diner (great place for breakfast).

Hotels in the area include Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn.

A stop in Park Hills is a great stop and will define the area as the Show Me State. It will provide dining experiences and fantastic experiences regardless of your interests.
