One of my family members' favorite Italian stops in the Belle Meade area and also has been around since 1989. Today, I stopped by Porta Via since they just opened for lunch in November. This place is definitely worth checking out with great salads, appetizers, entrees, and pizza. I had their Cobb Salad, and it was excellent with romaine, pickled vegetables, bacon, artichoke hearts, boiled egg, and an incredible homemade gorgonzola dressing with choice of protein. The salmon was well seasoned with a nice char from the wood fired oven. Excellent service and relaxed ambiance. Well worth the dining experience. #ridingwithkurt
