A rider who was visiting her daughter in the Nashville area told me about their favorite restaurant when visiting Nashville. There are two locations, one on 4th Avenue in Nashville and their downtown Franklin location. Today, I stopped by Puckett's in Franklin to check out the eatery. This place is definitely a place you'll want to add to your lists of places to eat in Franklin or Nashville. The menu is more Southern based with plenty of BBQ options, fried catfish, fried chicken, and other great items. Today, I had their BBQ sliders with a combination of Pulled Pork, Brisket, and smoked sausage. All three were fantastic and had great depth of flavor. Their original BBQ sauce was excellent with the three sliders. Served with sweet potato fries that were very good as well. Excellent service in this historic restaurant with a great ambiance.
Plenty of shopping and boutiques nearby are within walking distance. Also, there are plenty of historical markers and the Battle of Franklin in close proximity. Puckett's is definitely a place to stop by, as well as Downtown Franklin whenvisitingthis great area of Tennessee. #ridingwithkurt
