For a true concert experience head to Red Rocks Amphitheater located in Morrison, CO. The venue has hosted many great music artists including The Beatles. Johnny Cash, Hendrix, U2, Dylan, Widespread Panic, and Lord Huron.
The venue is also a national park and offers plenty of hiking and sightseeing at this historic sight. The construction of this amazing place Began in the 1930's and still today the architecture is appreciated by all who visit the area. Additionally, the park has influence with the local Native American Tribes.
The concert series begins in May and runs until November. When attending the venue for concerts give your self plenty of time for parking and getting through the entrances plus security. I highly recommend arriving an hour and a half before any concert to make sure you have plenty of time to take in the environment and appreciate what your about to witness as every concert is a memorable experience. Also. note there is only a two lane road in and out so traffic both in before the event and after can be heavy. Concessions is offered mainly for beverage so you will make sure you dine before you attend the concert of your choice. You can dine in Denver and head to Red Rocks for your event. Denver is about a half hour away.
You will not be disappointed with a visit to Red Rocks for your favorite music artists or just to sight see the park for its history and scenery.
You guys look AWESOME! What a memorable trip!
