Today I was in Ashland City, TN and stopped by a popular local stop that I haven't been by in a couple years and a couple riders from the area rave about this great establishment with an amazing view of the Cumberland River and their food. The Riverview Restaurant sirs right on the Cumberland River adjacent to Ashland City. The menu offers a wide variety of Southern Classics as well as appetizers, sandwiches, and other great items. They are also known for their fried catfish. Today, I had their fried catfish and clams with white beans and Cole slaw. The catfish is amazing. Cornmeal is the breading and seasoned very well. The clam strips are excellent. The white beans and Cole slaw were very good as well. The service is excellent and a quaint ambiance. Highly recommend getting to the restaurant early as there is a wait. This is definitely a place to check out next time you're in the Ashland City area. #ridingwithkurt
