Yesterday, I picked up an individual from Broadway and made a stop at their hotel for them to gather their luggage and head to the airport to return home to Minnesota on Delta Airlines. The area she was staying in is somewhat historically significant on the second avenue in Downtown Nashville. This is where it all began with Downtown Nashville with places like the Wild Horse Saloon, Buffalo Billiards, Have A Nice Day Cafe, Music City Mix Factory, The Wild Horse Saloon, Beer Cellar, and so many other original places for Second Avenue. The days of these great establishments are no longer there, but Second Avenue is now thriving.
On Christmas Day in 2020, the downtown Nashville area on Second Avenue North would be changed. The explosion that what was set off would change the street for almost five years ago. Five years later, this historic street is now thriving with restaurants, bars, tourist stops, and even a Hilton property. Here are some great restaurants and bars to check out on Second Avenue North that have been recommended to me by post-it note The Stillery, Category 10, Draft Kings, Cerveza Jack's, and Cheifs There are also gift shops on Second Avenue, including The Opry Store, Nashville Souvenirs, and Market Street Mercantile. For hotels on Second Avenue North, look at The Bankers Alley Hotel, which is a Hilton Property. The individual who stayed at this hotel said it was incredible with a very convenient walk to Second Avenue North and Broadway. The hotel is very close walk to Nissan, Bridgestone, The Schermerhorn, Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman, and other great attractions throughout downtown Nashville. Additionally, the hotel is only fifteen to twenty minutes from the Nashville International Airport. The staff that I interacted with were very friendly and informative about the property.
Second Avenue North offers so many great places to check out in Downtown Nashville. Great food, along with live music, excellent Hilton hotel nearby, tourist stops, and the convenience of easy walks to all sights in downtown Nashville.
