Today, I began my day in Germantown, walking the streets and heading to a dining spot that a couple recommended to me from a ride last night from a couple from New Jersey. I stopped by Sedona Taphouse, located on 3rd Avenue in Germantown. It has a Southwestern vibe with a great menu that offers shareables, sandwiches, salads, entrees, and many other items. The staff was amazing, and the ambiance reminded me of that from one of my favorite places, Arizona. I had the steak tacos, and they were spectacular with incredible flavor in the steak along with the toppings and sauce along with an incredible sauce it was a home run.
After a wonderful dining experience, we ventured over to First Horizon Park to catch the Nashville Sounds who hosted the Saint Paul Saints. If you have not experienced a game at First Horizon Park with the Nashville Sounds, then you're missing out. Very lively environment that is fun for all ages. The environment keeps you involved with activities before and throughout the game. The next home game series for the Sounds begins on April 16th. If you're a baseball enthusiast, then this is great to check out when visiting Nashville.
Other great stops near First Horizon Park that I previously have blogged about are The Farmers Market, Bicentennial Mall, Tennessee State Museum, Marathon Village, and Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum Germantown is a great area to venture to with plenty of things to do along with great food. It is located on the north side of Nashville just below the Tennessee State Capitol. #ridingwithkurt
