South Florida

One of my favorite places to visit next to Arizona is South Florida. Especially the area between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. The area is amazing because it offers great restaurants, access to beaches, plenty of culture and you can venture to the Keys and the Everglades from there within a couple hours.

Three great beaches there are Pampano Beach, Deerfield Beach and Hillsboro Beach. They are great because your just far north from Fort Lauderdale that it has less crowds than other South Florida Beaches. Plus easy access to the clear blue waters of the Atlantic.

For dining a definite stop for a great seafood experience is Luff's Fish House on East Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton. The dining experience offers great appetizers including fried Pink Shrimp and the Corn Bread. For entrees I always turn to the seared Diver Scallops. Plus the Baby Back Ribs are excellent as well. The Key Lime Pie is probably one of the best you will find in the area for dessert.

Coconut's is another great restaurant to add to the dining spots in Fort Lauderdale Florida located on Seabreeze Blvd. Offers a nice selection of seafood dishes.

While visiting there you should take a day to visit the Everglades. The vast area offers alot to see with the nature there and wildlife. The visitor center offers tours to the area and there are areas to walk, hike, and bike.

The elegance of Boca Raton, with the simplicity of the area, and beautiful ocean views offer this area of South Florida as a place that anyone will enjoy.
