The Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is located in the Germantown area of Nashville and is a great place to take in the beauty of the Nashville skyline while taking in some Tennessee history. The park is 200 acres and offers a walking tour of Tennessee History from its founding to present. It also represents the 200-year celebration of the founding of Tennessee, which was June 1, 1996. The experience offers a 200-foot granite map of Tennessee, a walking tour of the state, a World War Two memorial, and the rivers of Tennessee fountains. This is a great park to check out in Nashville any time of year.
Next to the park, you'll find the Nashville Farmers Market and Tennessee State Museum. All are free to the public and even have a food court located in the Farmers Market. Plus there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Definitely add this as a stop when visiting the Nashville area. #ridingwithkurt
