If you're looking for some great experiences to check out in Nashville today and want to avoid the crowds of Broadway, then add these stops for great food and to do's. Each area has their unique vibe and offers great dining, shopping, and even history. Even some of these were recommended to me by post-it notes.
The first stop is 12th Avenue South. This area offers a mile long block of shops, restaurants, boutiques, bars, and coffee shops. Great restaurants include Epice, The Frothy Monkey, and Urban Grub.
The second stop is Germantown. This area offers the Farmers Market, Tennessee State Museum, and Bicentennial Mall, plus many great dining options. Options for dining in Germantown include The Optimists, 5th And Taylor, and even the food court at The Farmers Market. Excellent vendors, local gift shops, and locally grown foods located at the Farmers Market.
The third stop is Marathon Motor Works Village. This historic building was once a car factory. Today, it offers plenty of shops, dining, antiques archaeology, the Marathon Car Muesem, and Nelson's Green Briar Distillery.
You won't be disappointed with any of these areas in Nashville, especially on a Saturday. The Farmers Market and The Marathon Motor Works Village are part of the tour for the Hop On And Hop Off Bus. Add these three for your Saturday and even Sunday experience in Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
