Top Picks for things around Broadway

Broadway is a fun and amazing place to visit here in the Nashville area. From the live music, food, history, and culture Nashville has it all. Here are a couple of my favorite places to check out while in downtown Nashville below 6th Avenue.

First place is the Country Music Hall of Fame. Whether you are into Country Music or just music in general this is a must stop in the Nashville area.

Second for food you have to check out Assembly Food Hall. The place is awesome and offers a variety of vendors that have local restaurants in the Nashville area. Whether it be hot chicken from Prince's, Pharmacy Burger, Velvet Taco, and many other great eateries this place is a must. Also they have live music and full service bars. Plus while you are there you can check out the 5th and Broadway Building that offers shopping and restaurants as well..

Third is the Ryman auditorium. This auditorium is rich in music history and the experience is definitely one you'll want to take in.

A couple bars that allow you to step back in time with old Nashville are Tootsies and Legends. These bars are great and offer live music daily. Plus there is no cover which offers and even better experience.

Finally for the history enthusiasts head down to 1st Avenue and check out Fort Nashborough. This is the original settlement for Nashville and you can get a feel from here how far Nashville has come. Founded along the banks of the Cumberland River in 1779 it was a stockade settlement for those that would eventually pass through and also settle the Nashville area.

Nashville is an amazing city to check out and offers plenty of things to do. Whether your looking for a place for live music, outdoor experiences, amazing food, or stepping back into time the town has it all. Year round experiences are always going on and one should never miss out on what the town has to offer. #ridingwithkurt
