Yesterday, I was chatting with a group from Brisbane, Australia. They were here visiting the states, seeing the sights in Nashville, and then heading out west. I shared plenty of stops throughout Nashville but also some recommendations for Arizona where they were headed to after their visit to Nashville. Additionally, they provided me with a future post-it note recommendation for a journey from Australia to Tasmania.
Arizona offers so much to see. The desert is incredible, along with the Grand Canyon. The food scene and areas like Old Town Scottsdale offer so many great missions, shopping, galleries, and history. If you're looking for a great state to visit, then add Arizona for a stop.
Places to check out throughout Arizona include Sedona, South Rim and North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Flagstaff, Tonto National Park, and Prescott. Dining experiences throughout Arizona include Z Tejas, Phoenician Hotel, Joe's Farm Grill, Mart Anne's, and even a Burger King that offers a unique history with a museum dedicated to the wind talkers from World War Two outside of Monument Valley.
There are several incredible road trips throughout the state. One is from Scottsdale through Sedona, then onto the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon. The second is from Flagstaff to Scottsdale. The third is from Monument Valley to Page, Arizona. Finally, the last one is from Page Arizona through passing the Navajo Bridge, through the Vermillion Cliffs, and ending up in the Northern Rim of The Grand Canyon.
Arizona is an incredible state to visit. Plenty of these stops were recommended to me by post-it notes. I find the best time of season to visit Arizona is January through early June. Note that Northern Arizona is about twenty degrees cooler than Southern Arizona. Incredible scenery, parks, food, and overall atmosphere. Add Arizona to your next destination for 2025. #ridingwithkurt
