Utah: Four Stops

When it comes to Western States next to Arizona a place that one should check out is Utah. Here are four stops that you should add to your travel destinations. Three of the four of these places have been recommended to me by riders or individuals that I have met.

First stop is Arches National Park. So many riders told me about this amazing place and I can tell you this is a place you want to add to your bucket list. From the second you enter the park it's amazing Arches begin to appear. The Arches are unique as the area as itself. Each Arch has a name and the beauty that lies within is amazing. I found the area in regards to hiking as both easy and challenging at the same time. Two of my favorite areas were Navajo Arch and Partition Arch. They sit next to each other but you have to push yourself to get there. Arches is a place you here about but until you get there you don't realize the beauty that exists. One thing for those that want to visit the park make sure you make reservations.

The second stop is Zion. Zion is amazing and will say when my riders told me about this place I wasn't prepared for how incredible of an area this part of Utah has to offer. From the visitor center to the park itself you get lost in time and space when you visit this amazing park. Every part of the park is an area where it's like time us lost. Huge cliff walls and a beautiful river through the valley you are mesmerized by a beauty in nature that can only be found in Zion. A really cool thing about this place is that you park at the Visitor Center and the shuttle buses have various drop off points through

out the park. This is definitely a place you'll want to add to your stops when you visit Utah.

The third stop is The Great Salt Lake. This magical peace of water is a place where you can't tell where the water ends and the sky begins. Various places to park here and you can walk to the waters edge and have an appreciation for the beauty that not only the Lake has to offer but the city and surrounding areas has to offer. Write your aspirations in the sand and enjoy what the The Great Salt Lake had to offer.

The final stop is a place that I first learned about from Guy Fieri show Diner, Drive Ins, and Dives. I first visited this rustic location last year and was not disappointed by their amazing Philly Cheese Steak. This last time I visited it again and had the Meatball Sub. Delicate Meatballs simmered in a delicious marinara sauce this place lives up to their name. This place is as big as icon as the Great Salt Lake as it self and one that do not want to miss out on.

Utah is an amazing place and have many more areas to discover there. It's a place of sustained beauty with so many hidden gems. You might get lost in translation when you arrive but the memories are epic. #ridingwithkurt
