The town of Warren is located in Bristol County and a little hidden in the Smallest State in America. It offers a quaint New England experience with some history, trails, fishing, and restaurants. Located along the northern border of Rhode Island it sits between the Providence River and Mt. Hope Bay.
A stop that you'll want to add for the history buff is the Maxwell House and the Martin Houe and farm. Both offer a rich experience for history for the area. The Maxwell House is the oldest building in Warren. The house itself dates back to the mid 1700s and was home to the Maxwell family.
For those interested in hiking, biking, or the beach head to East Bay Bike Path and Warren Town Beach. The East Bay Bike Path runs from Providence to Seekonk, MA and crosses pathes in the city of Warren. The Path is over 14 miles and offers plenty of beauty along the way weather your a hiker or biker. The Warren Town Beach has shallow water, playground equipment, and is adjacent to Burr's Hill Park, providing ample space for even the largest family get-togethers.
A couple restaurants to check out are Bywater, The revival Craft Kitchen and Bar and Tav-Vivo.
A stop in Warren will give one an appreciation of small town feel in Rhode Island and a realization of how amazing this state is. Best time to travel here is April through November. Warren is about 45 minutes East of Providence. With quick access to the airport as well.
